Weather was perfect for March 7th – no wind – soft snow – low 40s – spectacular view. We are thinking “SNOW”.

A great day of skiing – no wind, warm temps, and great snow.. Who needs Florida with weather like this?

Ski conditions at Sugarloaf on Wednesday –March 5 –
Wind was gusting at 60 mph – temp in the 20’s – spitting snow and sleet.

Lifts were closed due to the winds. If you wanted to ski you had to take a Cat to the T-bar and ride the T-Bar to the top. The following illustrates that process.

First they load us in the CAT – made by Bombardier…

Success – we made up to the bottom of the T-Bar. About a twenty minute ride straight up the mountain. We are unloading the skis and heading for the lift.

This picture was taken while I was riding the T-Bar. You can see the rope that is attached to the Tee that is pulling me up the mountain.

So you doubt I was on the T-Bar. Here I am in all my winter glory – I am riding the T-Bar, holding the camera in my left hand and taking my picture. This is a trick I learned skiing with Erin in Colorado – except  -- Erin used a movie camera.
